What will happen when we arrive?

When you arrive, our friendly welcome team will greet you and guide you to the Kids Wing. There, our eager team members will help get your kids checked in and placed in the perfect class for their age and stage.

What awesome things will my kids do in class?

Babies
will be lovingly cared for in their room for the entire service, with access to cribs, diaper changing, bottle warming, baby toys, and nurturing team members.

Kids
At the 9:20 a.m. service, kids ages 2 through 6th grade will enjoy small group time with peers, where they’ll be loved, prayed for, and discipled by our amazing team.

At the 10:58 a.m. service, kids will worship in a large group setting and learn the same Bible passage being taught in the adult service- presented in a way that’s fun and relatable for them.

How does HBKids prioritize child safety?

Safety is a top priority! Every one of our top-tier team members has completed a thorough vetting process, including background checks, references, minor safety training, and agreement to our Policies and Procedures. They also receive ongoing training and oversight.

We ensure a minimum of two team members are present in every classroom, and we use a secure tag system to make sure each child is picked up by the same person who dropped them off.

Are there any tools provided by HBKids to help parents connect with what their children are learning in church?

Yes! When you check your child in each Sunday, you’ll automatically be signed up for our HBKids Weekly Update. This email outlines what your children learned in Kids Church and Small Groups.

My child is attending a service with a friend/family member who is in a different age group. Can they attend together in the same age group?

Because our curriculum is tailored to each age group, we encourage kids to attend the service designed for their age. However, if a child feels uncomfortable attending alone, they may join a friend or family member in class. We just ask that both children attend the class for the youngest child’s age group. This ensures both kids can fully understand and engage with the lesson.
